Share an evening of “la dolce vita” with Chef Stefano Masanti and V. Sattui Winery, hearing stories of an adventurous international career and a passion for Italy’s food traditions. Menu and wine details coming soon!

Chef Stefano is founder and visionary of Il Cantinone, a Michelin-starred restaurant next to his family’s historic hotel in the small ski village of Madesimo. With his wife Raffaella, an accomplished sommelier, he spends summers as estate chef at V. Sattui Winery and supervisor of its in-house salumeria.

Born in Milan, Chef Stefano grew up in the Lombardian Alps and began his culinary path by helping his grandfather churn vanilla gelato when he was 5 years old. He received his B.A. degree in hospitality at the Hotel Institute Crotto Caurga Chiavenna and furthered his culinary studies in France and at the culinary institute in Bresaola, Italy. He is a strong proponent of the Slow Food movement.

Our event also will share the Italian roots of V. Sattui Winery, which offers its wines only through direct sales and keeps the winemaking process centered on its expansive Napa estate. Come enjoy the journey!
