Yoshi Tome, also a recognized sake expert, founded Sushi Ran in 1986 and grew it into a destination that collected accolades from Travel & Leisure, the New York Times, Zagat and the San Francisco Chronicle.
While leading Sushi Ran, Chef Yoshi has invested time in giving back to his community and the industry. He serves as a director with Sausalito Chamber of Commerce, served as president of the Japanese Restaurant Association of Northern California, and has been a leader in the Asian Chef’s Association.
